Christ-Like Care for Adults with a Developmental or Intellectual Disability
$64 Provides One Week of Meals for a Resident!
Adults with development and intellectual disabilities need more than just basic care. They need all-inclusive, comprehensive, Christ-like care!
Part of this exceptional care is providing quality meals for each home and resident...and you can help.
All homes work with a registered dietitian to help residents monitor and pursue healthy eating. Additionally, each home uses custom-made menus where many recipes are made from scratch.
Residents also participate in meal planning and preparation. While treats and snacks are enjoyed, residents are encouraged to choose wholesome foods for better health.
The best part: there’s no hefty price tag! Which means, anyone can help. On average, it only costs about $64 to provide one full week of meals for one resident. That comes out to $3.04 per meal. Now that’s good food at a good value.
Would you please send a special year-end gift of $64, $128, $256 …or any amount — large, or small, or in between — before midnight, December 31st?
Whatever the amount, your gift will help provide quality meals for a resident and support all the work of Sierra Salem Christian Homes to provide comprehensive, Christ-like care for adults with development and intellectual disabilities. Thank you!
Sierra Salem Christian Homes provides safe, spacious and comfortable homes in quiet residential neighborhoods to adults starting at age 18 and extending through the entirety of their lives. Sierra Salem creates a family atmosphere in each home. A comfortable main living area may display pictures of the home’s family on the wall. Seasonal decor helps celebrate the holidays. A large welcoming kitchen and dining area provides an opportunity to share meals and stories about each member’s day. Bedrooms display personal tastes and treasures.
Each of our homes, located in Modesto, are licensed by California’s Department of Social Services as Adult Residential Care Facilities (ARF) or by the California Department of Public Health as an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). We welcome up to 6 adult residents in each home.
